Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty well-structured to give students a good base from which to build going into the next phase of our lives. I found the choice of subjects to be helpful in terms of my interests and requirements. The syllabus is on par with the national standard for an MBA course. Examinations were challenging, and a good test for us.
Placement Experience
Placement isn't very high, but the number of students getting jobs is decent. Most companies do not visit for campus placement, leaving the students to fend for themselves in this regard. The same can be said for internships too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible and affordable compared to other colleges at this level. The cost for the 2-year MBA course is INR 1,87,000. This is much less compared to most other colleges, and it is easier to get through this degree without spending too exorbitant a fee.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities like different sports are pretty popular in the campus. Cricket, football, basketball and a few more games are widely played by students in the campus. The library is used by the students throughout the day.The gender ratio is highly skewed towards male students, as they make up around 70-80% of the student body, but culturally the campus is fairly diverse.
Admission
I got admission through the CAT examination. I couldn't get into any of the top IIMs as my score wasn't too high, but looking at the other colleges around me, I decided upon BRABU because of its location and positive reviews from my own seniors as well as on the internet. The admission process is that I applied on the basis of my CAT scores. My name was on the second merit list, and after that, I completed all the formalities required to confirm my admission into the Institute.
Faculty
The Professors are well-qualified in their respective areas, and they teach well, although sometimes classes can be a little bit irregular. There is no doubt of their quality, and they engage the students in the topics.
