Course Curriculum Overview
It is a three year program in which advanced learning is given to students in the subjects related to commerce, economics, financial & banking awareness merging the application of software technology for most of the professional requirements.The course is designed in such a way to help students perform different tasks with the blend of commerce applications. This specialized program gives more knowledge about the finance and bank industry and prepare the students for the lucrative employment opportunities.
Placement Experience
Top recruiters such as IDBI bank, HDFC bank, Euerka Forbes, Innovators group, TCS etc visited our campus during my batch. The highest salary grabbed by one of my classmate was 12 lpa from TCS as a Financial consultant. The average salary ranges from 4 to 5 lpa. Internships from many renowned business consultancies and financial advisory firms were also offered to the students and the stipend for the same was 10,000 per month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees for B.com is 4750 with lab fees of 10,115. A special fee deposit of 2000 is to be paid separately. Caution deposit amount of 300 also needs to be paid at the beginning of the course.This deposit is basically deposited towards the penalties.
Fees and Financial Aid
Backward classes belonging to MBC/BC/DNC are given scholarship whose family income is less than 2 lpa. Adi dravida welfare scholarship is granted to SC/ST students under the scheme of government whose family's annual income is less than 2.5 lpa. The hostel students studying their respective PG and Ug courses are granted a sum of 7500 and 6500 respectively if there parent's income is below 1 lpa.
Campus Life
International yoga competition and yoga demonstration competition is held at a greater level for yoga enthusiasts to show their talents. The fine arts club of the college organised Vivekananda Cultural fest in which 1191 students have participated to compete with each other and win the trophy. The NSS units which is divided into boys and girls jointly organised guest lectures for program's such as Save the girl child, Know the plastic resource, environmental awareness, cancer awareness programs. Sports meet is also organised by the student cell of the college to boost the morale of students.
Admission
Class 12th should be cleared with commerce, accountancy, economics as one of the major subjects from a recognized board. 31% reservation is given for open competition . The SC/ST/OBC are offered 18%,1%,30% reservation (in which 3.5% is reserved for Muslims).You can apply for this college and the admission process is basically based on merit. You would be called for their consul-ling session if your name appears in the merit list of the college.After that you will be granted admission.
Faculty
The teachers are very supportive in our management department. Most of them are Phd holders and have 15+ year of experience in their said field. They clear our doubts and tell us more about the accounting & banking industry. Assignments and case studies are also a part of our programe in which the teachers asses whether we are understanding the subject better or not.
