My ongoing Mba journey

I opted for the MBA programme and I must say the college provide each and every required necessity to the students. The college is making me a well management person for the upcoming years and also for the competitive world. i am looking forward to my exciting journey in this college.

talking about the MBA program, after every semester the exams are conducted. since each year has three semesters, 1st semester carries an examination of total of 600 marks, 2nd semester also with 600 marks while 3rd with 800 marks. same goes for the 2nd year, 4th semester examination gets conduct for 700 marks, 5th semester for 600 marks, and 6th for 700 marks. the total credit of 1st year is 60 and total marks 2000 whereas 2nd year total credit is also 60 with same marks that makes total credit to 120 and total marks 4000 adding both the years. exams days are quite hectic but labs are interesting.

The placement wing of our college is quite disciplined and they make sure to call each year, organizations for students to get placed at good positions. The placement organization has a good record with the names like, ICICI Bank, SBI life, AB group, HDFC bank, pepsi.co, kotak life and many others.

There are numerous curricular activities that are planned for students to get engage with different streams too apart from the academics. Activities like, social activities, sports day, and an annual B school fest that includes a business plan contest, quiz contest, advertising contest and a business debate contest.

The total fees of all the six semesters is 4,05,000 including the admission fees, tuition fees, computer facilities, library, administrative charges, students activities, examination fees, industrial visits and games and co-curricular fees. Fee for 1st year is 2,05,000 and 2nd year is 2,00,000. It is a bit expensive fee scale.

sports day is celebrated every year, organizing lots activities for everybody irrespective of gender and everybody enjoys it to the fullest. whenever workshops are conducted they are highly recommended to attend for the knowledge gain and it really is. there are training programmes for personality development that actually brings change for good in you.

being in my 1st year now, its a bit difficult to get in touch with the alumni but I do get in touch with some of them and they are very down to earth and helpful. They cleared my questions regarding internships organizations and also helped me with the last year notes.

I got admission into this college through the three tier selection process. First I was made to give an entrance test, then a group discussion and later I got shortlisted for the personal interview, which I cleared and was called for further formalities.

Talking about faculty members, they are quite impressive at their teaching process. Everybody tries different methods to make an interactive session by using presentations and case studies. It is never a one side boring classes from faculty member?s side.
