Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The total course is of 5.5 years which us actually 4.5 years of study and one year compulsory internship. MBBS is difficult and needs a lot of efforts and hard work in it. You must be prepared for the hectic schedule of your college days. The overall course is based on mostly research and practical work with the vast theoretical part. The syllabus is mostly the same across the country. There are a lot of exams throughout the year, mid term, yearly or end term, internal assessment etc.

Placement Experience

4

The placements here are mostly provided by the government and private hospitals with high package. The placement cell is very active here. They offer a compulsory 1year internship in the hospital for the student's knowledge and practical experience. Overall the placements are pretty well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is not that affordable. There are a lot of government colleges out there with much minimal cost. You have to pay 3.34 lakhs per year which is 15,04,000 Rs. in total 4.5 years of study. The thing is, if you compare this to any other private college then the fee is much affordable but as you know its a government college and may be it shouldn?t be charging this much. Apart from that it?s a good college and obviously pays off your hard work and overall cost.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life here very focused on the total development of the student. There are a lot of seminars happening in various topics throughout the year which are obviously organised by the college.

Admission

The admission process is basically merit and entrance examination based. First you need to appear for NEET-UG exam with a 50% marks in 10+2 with science. On the basis of your rank you are going to get selected here. Then there will be a counselling process for the qualifying candidates which is done by GGSIPU.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are the best part of the college. They are highly qualified and very much dedicated towards their work. They offer a greater insight about the subject to the students. They are helpful and motivates students to achieve their goal in life. They are trained medical professionals with vast experiences of professional field.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
