One of the best Colleges ever

It is a three and half year course and one year of internship. The syllabus is common to most courses in the first year. In the second year, the students got divided into particular branches. Labs and exams are done frequently in college leaving us chilled. We always enjoys our class with full enthusiasm. We are always motivated for doing research in different subject. It is a good course for people who want to start earning at early age.

Very good job opportunities all over India. Yes, we have internship facility but we are not paid any stipend. Our college provide internship of six months depending upon the courses. This college teaches us to not focus mainly on earning money but to give social service also.

We celebrate every occasion with lots of enthusiasm. Fresher?s day for new arrivals. Kannada Balaga for the local kannada people. Humbo the sports meet, College foundation day and Sarasvati puja. We enjoy too much in these occasion. We perform different social and cultural activity. In addition to, there will be many conferences held on respective subjects.

The fees structure is very feasible and easy to pay. Students can also pay in installments as well. The fees for my course when I joined was Rs.35000 per year. The tuition fee may be around 5000. Hostel fee may be around 6000. Other activities like gym and library are very much cheaper. Transport facility is also available but for girls.

Sports is encouraged at a very good level. We have badminton lounge. Swimming pool for the interested ones. Football and cricket are also equally encouraged. Labs are really good and well equipped. Gym for regular workout. Our university also provides all well equipped laboratories with all modern facilities.

Seniors are very supportive with us. Seniors help us in studying and understand things better. They teach us methodology of studying every topic. The Alumni Association also contributes for the development of our college. This will be very useful for the junior students.

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College offers MBBS course at the UG level. The minimum eligibility criterion to apply is to have 50% marks in 10th and 12th by taking Physics, Chemistry/Biotechnology and English as the core subjects. The admission in MBBS is based on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG). The final selection in the course is based on NEET score and performance in interview.

Faculties in our college are too qualified. They always help student in their studies and in laboratory. They also teach us how theory knowledge can be applied on day to day practical life. They always treat us like friends. A teacher is a guide to ones life and they proved it true.
