The college provides great clinical exposure to the students. They provide excellent opportunities to the students for the future and has exceptional facilities to train the students through their medical education years.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is curated very systematically and carefully making sure that it covers all topics effectively. The subjects are covered in both theory and practical for a more in depth understanding of the students.
Placement Experience
The students when doing their posting period after their final year of the MBBS program either join the hospital affiliated to the college or choose any hospital or clinic of their choice to do their training period. They get a decent stipend after graduation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee expense falls somewhere in between an exorbitant private college and a cheap government college in India. The fee per year is INR 3,60,000 excluding the hostel fee which is around 20,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
You are eligible to get a merit cum scholarship if you belong to a lower economic background. The students also get scholarships if they top their class and therefore get deductions of amount in their fee for each subject.
Campus Life
The college celebrates sports day, academic day, annual day, our college fest called Aura, etc. These events are both intra and inter level and students from our college as well as other medical colleges participate in them.
Hostel Facilities
The college has a hostel for both genders for which is charges Rs.7000 every month. This includes the room rent and the mess charges. The students from the 1st to the 3rd year have double occupancy rooms and the students in the final year can have single occupancy rooms, both with an attached washroom.
Admission
I attempted the NEET UG entrance exam and fortunately scored pretty well. The candidates are then sent for medical counseling after the NEET marks are out. The candidates then get allotted the college on the basis of their marks, and i was allotted this college.
Faculty
The faculty is one of the best a medical college can have. The faculty consists of both civilian and military faculty. The faculty are all specialists in their field of subjects and we also have resident doctors as visiting faculty.
