I took TANCET , it s tamilnadu common entrance test. I preferrd energy engineering because energy is the major crisis in this world . Although we have lot of energy resources but we do not actually use , so this made me to explore importance of energy.

They provided us internship with two companies . One was robert bosch and the other was danfoss ltd.
Placement Experience
Placement record was fantastic , THE BEST IN TAMILNADU, i was placed in two companies, cognizant and infosys. Both offered me a package of rs29000/month . Rest of my friends did not opt of placements, since all were interested in teaching . I was the only person to sit in placement and got placed in two . Like so who ever sits for the placement, he gets placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have wonder scholarship system . The govt course have scholarships and in the post graduation , we have gate scholarships and tancet scholarships. My gate friends used to get rs 8000/month and in tancet tequip scholarship we received rs 6000/month .
Alumni/Alumna
We are now an alumni , so our do a fantastic work interacting with us . We have an alumni meet on 26.12.2015 . Every year we meet , we share lot of things , infact i got a job in an engineering with the reference of my senior working in the same college. We keep interacting with our seniors as well as our juniors.
Exam Structure
Our exam structure in unique and organised when compared to others. The internals would be held in 3 days , 2 exams/day . We have different time slots to write the exam. The question paper pattern would very tough , one cant mug up and write the exam and about the semester exam , the question would be very easy if you know the subject and it would be very tough if you just mug up the subject.
Faculty
The faculties were highly qualified. They has an enormous amount of industrial experiences. We had three faculties in the school of energy and all the three were very informative . Although they were giving lecture, it was felt he s taking us to practical world . All the lectures would be in line with the latest technologies.
