My dream place.

No entrance, i got through councelling based on my 12th public exam cut off. I had 193 and i took this course as Computer science was not available. And PSG is one of the best institution in Tamil nade and it was situated near my home town so i choose this college.

It was pretty interesting and they made sure to update the syllabus to meet the current trend by conducting .Review meeting with the alumni in knowing the current industry use of IT. So i find every course related to the subject.

Internships are offered during the final semester where students can take fast track ( a procedure in which we get to write the last sem paper in advanced) so as to go for intern during the final sem. In case of Msc it gets interesting. Their curriculum itself has two semesters exclusively for internship thats a special thing about that course. During the 7th and 10th semester they should compulsorily do internship. Companies like Miscrsoft, myntra , Intel , Robert bosh etc came and i am not sure about the stipend.

As i mentioned my college is a reputed one and there are a lot of companies come in for placement. Like 70% of students in my department were laced last year. The rest of them were opting for higher studies. Companies like Microsoft, Deesha, Ebay, Amazon, Intel , CTS ,TCS , Robert bosh, Google , etc.

We have 2 main events one meant for inter college cultural and the other one is a fest where we conduct several events for people from other college students, we provide accommodation and its a 3 day fest.

The fees is expensive for the management students but for the counselling students its very affordable. Like 40k per year. We can even opt for bank loans and college co operated with it very well.

Yes we have a good relation with the aluminus who provides us funds to help the poor people to pay the fees. It works on all department, Students just have to contact the concern people to get it done.

Yes it absolutely awesome. But not that great hile comparing to IITs.We are not allowed to dance with girls during the cultural. They are kinda strick about it. We have various clubs to meet peoples interest. Appart from that watchman's ID card checking is upto the level of CIA.

As i mentioned earlier we have a good network with alumini and we meetup every year for the function Young Alumini Meet. We even have an Alumini group for all the PSG tech alumini who lives in US. They do a lot of help. and very available to us if we need to contact them.

Not at all. We have adequate intervals and if everythings done properly. Its justas chilled out. WE have internals for 50 and external for 50. where we actually write the exam for 100 marks and they divide it by 2. We follow relative grading system when it comes to results.

The facuilty are well experienced as my college is one of the oldest in the city more than 75 years of existence. They always relate the topics with real world examples. Some faculties are really boring to be frank but the Program coordinator makes sure they handle only dry subjects like Software engineering and Environmental science. Interesting faculties get to take challenging subjects like Theory of computing, Design and analysis of Algorithm etc.
