Superb and Enjoying College Life

Overall college is quite good. I am happy and proud to be a part of this college. This college has given me everything beyond my expectations.

I appeared in AIEEE exam and scored 65 marks. My rank was not so good to be selected in Govt. College. So I opted for PIET college. One reason was that it was nearest to my location and other was that it is providing good placement opportunities. So I took admission in it.

I chose Information Technology stream in Btech. It was because I have a good interest in computer and its related activities. Course curriculum was easier as compared to other streams. Most of the subjects were theoretical. Also the programming is very interesting like C, C++, Java, HTML etc.

I undergone a 6 weeks internship program in college campus itself. It was provided by Infosys Pvt. Ltd. We learnt a lot of new programming techniques and ways to implement them in daily life. We were not given any stipend for that. We were charged Rs. 10000 per head.

This college has provided lot of placement opportunities to students. No other college in nearby area is providing such opportunities. Many big companies like Infosys, Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Airforce, Hitachi, Federal Bank, TCS etc. visit college campus every year.

Every year we celebrate Carbuncle and Maestros in our college. Many famous celebrities visit our college in these events like Honey Singh, Kapil Sharma, Deep Money etc. A lot of technical, cultural and sports activities are organized in college.

Fee structure is slightly expensive. But keeping in mind the facilities provided by college the fee structure is accurate. The poor students are given discount in tuition fees.

Our college conducts a test namely PIET QUEST every year. In this test students of various schools are not only given costly prizes upto bikes, but they are also given fee discounts in admission in any course.

Overall campus life is very good and enjoyable. Students go for college trips, technical trips and other competitive tours in other places. Sports activities are equally suppoted in college. College atmosphere is quite good and inspirational.

Although I have not taken any hostel facility. But as told by friends hostel facility is quite good. Students are fed with good quality food in mesh. Hostel staff is very strict towards ragging and other bad habits.

Many senior students who have been placed in MNCs visit our college frequently. They share their experience with us and also give tips to students. Get together is also arranged for all streams.

Exams are very serious but we enjoyed a lot. They are designed keeping in mind each and every student. Labs are fully equipped and practical experiments are done.

We have very good qualified teachers in our stream. Not only they are knowledgeable but they also love to teach new things. They are fully cooperative to us.
