Remarks

The college has a positive and healthy environment to study in. The campus is great and has a nice vibe. There is extensive availability of resources for all and the fee is extremely less being a government college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

MBBS is a 5.5 years intensive course which includes both conceptual matter and application of the sciences. The course is quite concerted and the exams are conducted at the end of each semester with 9 semesters in total.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college provides an internship course for the duration of 1 year in the attached hospital, in which students are offered a stipend of around Rs.17,000. The students, after graduation, can either choose to give the PG entrance or apply for a post of junior resident in a Govt. or private hospital.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a government medical college, the fee structure is extraordinarily less. The fee for the first year is just around 1500/- which is very affordable for everyone. The exam fee is to be paid separately although.

Campus Life

4

The college, along with a good academic record, has extra curricular activities for a wholesome development of the student. The college organizes events and fests such s cultural, sports, seminars, workshops etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is given to the students on the basis of merit. The hostel management aspires to cater to the needs of the students and provide them a home away from home. There are 2 hostels, an old and a new one.

Admission

The admission in the college is on the basis of entrance cum merit. I had to give the common medical entrance test, NEET UG, to get into the medical stream. The result as soon declared and on the basis of the marks that i scored in the exam and through the online counseling, i got into this college.

Faculty

4

The college is one of the best medical colleges in the country and has hand picked it's excellent and hard working faculty to bring out the best of the results from the students and encourage them to find and work on their potential.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
