Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is 4.5 years MBBS and 1 Year House Surgeonship, which is very good. The test structure is proposed by RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences). We have 3 interns per year for each subject and must obtain at least 50% of the 2 interns to qualify for the final exam. In the final exam we need to be successful in Theory and Practices / Clinics.
Placement Experience
There is no such thing as placements or jobs, our college has post graduation seats which must be earned by writing the All India Entrance Test (NEET). Yes our college offers one year internship. We will be ready to treat patients during this period. We serve all clinical departments within one year. We do PHC visits in villages which provide practical experience in handling different cases. During this period we receive a monthly stipend of 15,000.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This was practical for me because I got a medical seat through the entrance exam at a government medical college. Or if I have a private medical college, no fee is possible. We spend more on expensive books and online coaching than college fees.
Campus Life
We have extracurricular activities such as sports, cultural, medical quizzes and medical camps. All of them are amazing. There are so many diagnostic tests out there and we study them too. We have a stadium where we can play cricket and football. We have indoor facilities for badminton. We also have a video library that can access the Internet.
Admission
After the 12th I wrote the Common Entrance Test (CET), which got me a 540 state rank, followed by counseling for medical colleges based on rank, and I got a medical college in Mandya, for which I was paid for admission.
Faculty
The faculty here are excellent. Each department has one HOD, one Associate Professor and 3 Assistant Professors who actually take classes and teach clinical skills. The quality of medical education is stringent and excellent.
