Medical College with a mission

Likes

The girls hostel are good. Boys hostels required with rooms attached bathroom which will improve the college infrastructure especially for boys residents
Green levish campus with indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The college infrastructure is beautiful matching international standard.

Dislikes

Patient flow need improvement which can easily be done for matching JJM
Grass growing need improvement and maintenance from time to time
Airport missing in the city of Davangere making challenging for outsiders

Admission:

I applied to St. John Medical College Banglore and got admission in SSIMS &RC Davangere. The admission is through Karnataka Examination Authority on basis of merit in UGNEET Examination. One has to prepare hard for UGNEET to get a competitive college in medical College of repute at National level

The college has a lot of greenery so people who love to walks and beautiful sunsets this is the place and the faculty is just mind blowing and yeah there are a few up and downs like the canteen facility can be better but overall it does the job .
Social interaction chances are great there are a lot of cultural activities, treasure hunts and college days so your year will be full of excitement.

Admission:

I myself did not apply to colleges per day but had got a college through karnataka counselling and in the first round I was given kvg suklia which in my opinion is a good college but is placed in a very rural area so it has no patient load and therefore I don't think it is a good idea to go there . To get admission you must have eligibilty in Neet and also you should clear the state merit cut-off which depends on the state merit of that year

I applied to shri devi college of tumkur , i was assigned there in mock allotment but after looking at the fee structure and hostel environment and expenses, i decided to relocate SSIMS&RC to 1st preference since it was cost friendly with great infrastructure and opportunities and was near to my home place Admission process was the same as i got a seat through kea

we have to give neet to take admission into this mbbs course and nta conducts this process we have to select our college according to cut off and then we have allotment i got this college because my marks were 511 and this was the best option according to the cut off

My college got very peace and large campus, well maintained with heritage look. Girls ans boys arqr in same campus, even college and hospital are in same campus too. Everything thing is alright qiwth big playing ground and gym in campus
Our college got big hospital and upcoming multi speciality hospital too. And it more sophisticated infrastructure and facility that every mediacl college should have. And even college organises many events throughout the year as part of cocarriculum.

Admission:

I actually got admitted to Dayanand sagar engineering college Bengaluru. But later i got seat allotted in medical college so i have to leave previous college and got admitted to ssims and rc. Seat allotment process goes by merit list so whichever college u get allotted to according to your marks in NEET and category ,u have to accept it, if not u should wait for next counseling or take gap to score good for best college.

The admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG examination. Cut off for the government seat in 2023 was 520 marks and for private seat was around 570 . ( This varies year to year and in 2024 will highly increase)
