Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS as the name defines has always been a tougher entrance as well tough course. To be a doctor is obviously not easy. The two months for every exam is very hectic. The course curriculum is research based and consists of Theory+ Practical+ Case studies+ Practice. One needs to clear both the theory and practical papers.

Placement Experience

4.5

It is one of the Top 25 medical colleges in India. To be a doctor most important thing is one year internship and the college provides one year complete internship. After completion of the course one can join the Indian Army. If one qualifies NEET PG they get a stipend of 97000.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure appears to be feasible when compared to the private colleges. I had to pay around ? 3,40,000 that made around total fees of ?15,04,000. But once you complete the course you will have a job thus this is not very much.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed one but there are couple of scholarship programmes being run by the state government and the national government. A student can avail ?40,000 upon Distinction in each subject. Other than this if family's annual income is less than 25,000 , students can avail merit cum means scholarship of Delhi government.

Campus Life

4

Army college of medical sciences provides students with alot of extracurricular activities like cultural fests and especially sports meet that results in all round development of students. Also workshops and seminars were held regularly.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has good alumni network which provides with good clinical exposure. Also the senior-junior culture is much appreciable there ,where the seniors give notes, sometimes teach and solve the problems always.

Admission

I got admission here through NEET as I was lucky enough to be a Army personnel. Once you qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test conducted by NTA candidate has to come for counselling after which admission is confirmed.

Faculty

4.5

Not old but a renowned medical college that teaches army wards and widows has the best faculty who are very supportive. They teach in such a manner with examples that memorising things becomes very easy. The teachers also had clinical experience that makes the teaching more practical and realistic.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.
