Information Technology Batch 2015-16(start)

I got this college allocated from the second cap round of university. The college has a very high number of students placed in various multinational companies. The college is known for its textile branch and it has a 100% placement. The college is situated at the heart of the city Ichalkaranji and the building is the old palace of the king which looks very beautiful. The campus has WiFi, canteen, and gym facilities. To the right side of the campus, there is a separate building for the library and study where they provide the two books for 15 Day and students can renew the same books as many time they want. The admission process happens in the rajwad located at the center of the campus. People working there are very helpful and kind only during the time of admission. Professor and teachers are very experienced and professional. The college has very good placement opportunity only if you enroll yourself to the soft skill course

I have completed my Diploma in IT and looking for an engineering college to continue my education. I very much kind of techno-savvy person in nature so decided to pursue my diploma in IT. The faculty working here is very much experienced and has very high qualifications some of them are doing there Ph.D. Faculty has a deep knowledge of the subject and most of them use PowerPoint presentations while teaching to the students. They conduct two unit tests on each subject for each semester. Considering the old syllabus of Shivaji University they guide us to learn new things and technology trending in the industries. The faculty members are highly talented. They provide you excellent knowledge. If you show them that you have potential and skills, then they give you beyond knowledge about technical skills as well as company soft skills. Co-curriculum activities are excellent. It the time when I was in the college it is affiliated as per the Shivaji university schedule, now it's autonomous.

Companies like Bharat Forge, Thermax, Cap Gemini, TCS, Trident, global edge, etc are campus in our college. The Alumni network is good. My batch has about 80 and above percentages but, we are from the direct second year. One of the big advantages of learning in this college is we can get the opportunity of a job in a foreign country. Generally, campus interviews start in the sixth semester of the final semester. I have not enrolled myself for the soft skill I got placed in the circle tech after the degree from the off-campus interview.

The college has slightly high fees considering the other college in the Sangli and Kolhapur area. Fees are constantly increased every year by a minimum of two to three thousand rupees. Students can enroll in all the government schemes like EBC and low cast/income criteria schemes. Placements are not bad here. Roughly about 85% to 90% of the students get placed in Indian and foreign companies. Our college puts efforts to make all students get placed. TPO also provides company-oriented skills by arranging extra courses. Technical skills also provided by teachers, and if you know that, it is an added advantage for placement. The student has to enroll for the soft skill training to be eligible for the campus placement.

2 hostels. Pg is available. The average food but the various options are available and 40 to INR 50 per meal. Good infrastructure but smaller buildings.PGs are better than our hostel but are a bit costlier than our hostel PGs are more preferable. They cost about Rs 18000 to Rs 25000 per annum. The daily routine is 9.40 am to 5.40 pm. As per exams are held by Shivaji university exams papers are a little bit tough. Projects are held by college Frequently. The quality of the classroom is good. Learning is fun there.
