Remarks

One of the best college located at Kashipur, Kolkata. The admission process was simple. Anyone can enrol for it. This college is better than others because the fees are decent and not very high. Affordable to everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Com Hons (Accounts and Finance). Faculties are good and well trained and well educated with proper degrees. Also the way of teaching is very good and easy to understand for all. Exams were every 3rd month of the year and class tests are also conducted. Exams were not very tough as the faculty member teaches well.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 16800 per year

Placement Experience

There are no placements provided by the campus. After getting the degree I did a startup of my own manufacturing unit in the textile industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are affordable to everyone, not very high and not so less. It's affordable to middle-class man. A well-reputed college with decent fees. Also as a student of Shree Jain Vidyalaya, Kolkata, I got a concession of 5k-6k approx on merit basis on achieving 79%.

Campus Life

The annual fest was good. Every student takes part. The program is named ripples. Basketball court and a huge ground are present for sporty students.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
