Remarks

Excellent and has a reputation in Chennai. Where we can learn extracurricular apart from academics. Develop good communication skills. Have more knowledge about the subject. More opportunities were there. Campus Interview was organized and placement was made from more MNC.

All the teachers are approachable at any time. I admire S.Malini mam speech. Gowhar Jann(GJ mam) class which creates more inspiration. Shyamala mam calmness. Renuga Devi mam simplicity. All teachers in Dept are more kind.

Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were moderate. But apart from fees, we have to pay additional charges for all cultural and programmes conducted in the college. A scholarship was provided. For sports students, discounts were made in the fees. Good

We enjoyed a lot with all the functions. Department functions Freshers gathering College day we had great fun with friends. We had shops as sponsors we used to purchase We had a lot of funs

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
