Life in DSCSDEC

My experience in DSCSDEC till now is great. All the faculty members staffs and also seniors are very much supportive. Whenever I have any problems either it is related to study matter or any other event everyone comes up to support. Along with studies teachers also motivate us to participate in sports, cultural activities and all. Everyone in the college teachers, students participate in every event equally and compete with each other. DSCSDEC have a friendly enthusiastic innovative and motivational environment which also inspire you to do something new and great.

I have chosen Mechanical engineering because I love this part from my childhood I love to be around machines, cars etc. So I was sure that I've to study this anyhow. And I'm very much happy that I get into a right place to study right thing. The faculty members are so much helpful and supportive and take care of each and every student either it is 120 students in a class or it is only 20 in a class. Every student get equal attention and care. They motivate every student and inspire them. There may be a ratio of 1:13 between student and teachers. So every student will get care. All the faculties also teach every topic so clearly that anyone can understand easily and even after this if you have doubts you can ask them and they will resolve it every time.

The college provides various internship program for the students off campus in different companies as per the students department and capability. The college help us to get professional training through internships so that we can understand and feel the environment of professional work. And excel in our professional career as they start teaching us for this events from the first day of college itself.

The college have great placement rate from the beginning and it increases every year. Every year maximum of students get placed in various fields and companies as per their department and there choices. 85%+ students gets placed every year as the students are trained to get into and interview and how to response in an interview from first year itself.

Fee structure is very neutral in my opinion. It is not so much more in comparison to the facilities they provide within the college from the 1st year with training programs, conference(national and international), industrial visit etc. They also provide scholarships to the students based on there financial conditions and on their merit. So there is also facilities with fees.

The campus is so beautiful with friendly environment. It is so interesting to be a part of it. There is annual fest and tech fest organised by college where students show their talents, innovation and different art they know. The college also celebrate different occasions and festivals within the college premises and also includes the people lives around the college and enjoy every bit of it. It creates an exceptional environment during those occasions.

The college takes entrance tests along with interview to get into different courses. They also accepts students from Joint Entrance Examination like JEE mains and WBJEE. For those students there will be no entrance test only an interview cum counselling session is conducted. Otherwise the college will take entrance cum interview. I was admitted through WBJEE so I haven't give the college entrance but my interview session was quite good enough. They ask few easy questions about me and my choice of choosing this department.
