Remarks

Overall, PU is great if you are a regular student. You need to maintain at least 70% marks in all three semesters. Student Unions are also quite active and you may participate in them if you wish to do so.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of PU is very much comparable to most curriculum in Indian universities. A lot of focus on marks obtained in the exam is there, and the exams are announced timely. The results are also on time, and evaluation is fair. The course is good.

Placement Experience

Internship opportunities are there for those who willingly look for them on their own accord. The professors sometimes help. Job fairs are sometimes organised within the college premises. The professors keep updated about the job fairs happening nearby and keep us informed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for B.Sc is very affordable for Middle Class individuals and is quite cheap, in fact. My fee for the first year was 15,000 rupees and the same fee is for all three years of bachelors. This includes all the exam fees, lab fees and so on.

Campus Life

Several extracurricular activities are held in Patliputra University, such as cultural fests, dance clubs etc. NSS and NCC is very active in the college. They often organise grabage collection drives, blood donation camps, etc. The NCC has a very strict exercise regimen. Essay writing competitions are also held often times.

Admission

There is an online registration process for admission, and the link for it is available in the website of Patliputa University. Once registration is done, there is the submission of documents. Admission is confirmed on the basis of the basic eligibility criteria that is 10+12 and the marks obtained in the same.

Faculty

Some faculty in PU is very, very excellent and you will be blessed to attend their classes . They have a lot of zeal for teaching and they are always willing to learn more as well. They are very enthusiastic about the student participation at large. Some professors are okay.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good but if you work hard about study then you will be selected for campus placement. Many companies visit here. 40 percentage students approx get placement. I have to clear competitive exams after it.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

My college is the best college in my State

I have applied in A.N college and also got offer letter but I have took admission in this college because this college provide us campus placement and it is the best college in our hole bihar .
