Course Curriculum Overview
The course has 4.5 years of theoretical and practical sessions. Both are equally interesting and important as well. In addition to this we are also subjected to one year of internship and rural social service as well.
Placement Experience
Many healthcare firms visits our campus for the purpose of hiring us. The packages average around 5 to 6 Lakhs per annum. We are not allowed to do any internships in dental field till the completion of first 4.5 years of study.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the BDS degree program is annually Rs.1,00,000. With comparison to other dental colleges, this fee is feasible and cheap as well. Thus, the overall course fee comes around 5,50,000 rupees including other miscellaneous bills.
Campus Life
We conduct several social activities and also the management helps us by organising workshops for the betterment of our skills. Several international conferences are also held and experts are invited to conduct guest lectures.
Alumni/Alumna
Many of our seniors are placed in leading healthcare firms. Though we used to have ego clashes while I was a fresher, by the course of time, they got very close to me. Bond with seniors will always be supportive and helpful for us.
Admission
The eligibility for applying for BDS in Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences is to have passed 12th standard and minimum of 50% score in NEET. Selecting the candidates is decided by the management and half of the seats are for delhi students while the rest is All India category.
Faculty
The professors have got extreme talent and are highly competent both in dental and teaching fields. It is an honour to pursue BDS under such experienced dentists. Their knowledge helps us fine tune our skills.
