I got TNNLU, NUSRL and CNLU. I chose CNLU due to its proximity to my home. Additionally, other colleges were not very far better than CNLU. The admission process of this college is by giving the CLAT exam which is held in whole of the India and nealy 300000 students give this exam.There is also ranking of colleges so if u get better marks in CLAT exam than you will be eligible for better colleges in India. I applied for Gnlu which is in Gujrat and that college was my dream college as it has eveything that i needed in my whole life but my rank was not upto the eligibilty criteria of that college so i got admission in Patna. But there was a sense of relaxation that although i didin't get that college but this college is near my home so it's good to have here.My college is mush better than other colleges because first it has a great infrastructure and second one is that it is in middle of the patna so you can avail anything by nearky travelling half an hour and it's a very plus point for Cnlu....Read More

To get into a national law University, you have to appear in an entrance exam called CLAT. there are 25 nlu in India. On 1st rank there is Nlu banglore, 2nd there is Nlu Hyderabad and the list goes on. According to your rank in CLAT exam you get Nlu's. Mostly students either prefer a college which is high in rank or a college close to their hometown. Cutoff varies every year. Sometimes paper is easy and cutoff goes high sometimes it's difficult so cutoff comes low. For general category, You have to be under 2500 rank to get admission into an nlu. The admission process is quite simple . Everything is done from the CLAT official website. According to my rank which was 15000, I had 3 options - CNLU, NLU Orissa and NLU Ranchi. Before enrolling into any National Law University, a student has to appear for the CLAT exam, and based on the rank scored in the exam a student gets the college. If a student got the CNLU so all the communication is done by the email provided to the consortium. Cut-off of CNLU depends on the difficulty level of the paper of CLAT. CNLU has 20 seats for SC students of Bihar. Other SC student outside of Bihar is not considered. Application forms can be found on the website Consortium of NLU and all the details are available there regarding the question paper and the information about the college. The application fee for general category students is 4000 and for SC and lower caste students is 3500. The CLAT exam is held annually in December.
