Course Curriculum Overview
A different course curriculum is followed here at Gour Banga University than in comparison to same colleges that provide the same course. But the course is maintained in a very good manner and is understandable quite easily also.
Placement Experience
Very good placement cell. Many companies visit the campus for placements. Majorly of my seniors were placed whereas the ones who couldn't make it went for higher studies from more prestigious institutions around the country.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If we look at the fee of other colleges, the the fee charged here is absolutely low. The total fee here is around Rs 7,200 which is negligible compared to the colleges which charge in lakhs for the same course and their quality of education is not so good.
Campus Life
Cultural societies are very active throughout the year. They conduct many events around the year including workshops that acquire a large crowd which are connected to our courses as well as non academic courses.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors guide us to the best of their knowledge and make sure we get to the right path. We're connected through alumni networks with all of us living like a family. We get proper guidance from our super seniors, seniors, and of course our alumni.
Admission
The admission process in this college is quite difficult here. You have to complete through a very large number of candidates applying for the same course with better marks than yours. Make sure you have a good merit score.
Faculty
A little strict faculty is present here. They will make sure than you understand everything taught in class by taking surprise tests to check your ability. Faculties many times give one to one session to students to help them understand better.
