Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was quite tough until I got used to it. It included subjects like geography, mathematics, and zoology. The exam structure was quite easy and there was one final exam every semester therefore two final exams per year.
Placement Experience
There were few chances for placement at the college as this college was an under-graduate one and the students opt for higher studies in the university. Also, there were some job prospects if students can apply by themselves at some private firms.
College Events
At the Nalbari College there were events like alumni meeting, singing fest at the auditorium, cultural and management events at the campus hall. Also, there were several sports events including the general seminar to motivate students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible but also expensive for some students as a student have to pay 85,000 for a three-year course. Also, there are some options for loans and paying the fees in several sections or parts with the written permission of the college.
Campus Life
There are meetings with alumni students, conferences in the conference hall, and also there are workshops on some field related topics at the college. The gender ratio is much different as the number as boys are more as compared to girls at the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The students studying at the college have a chance to meet the alumni students at a certain time of year during the seminar and alumni meet event. There is quite a good talk with the senior students at the college campus.
Admission
I applied directly to the college for admission with all my academic documents for evaluation. I have completed higher secondary education, therefore, applied for the Bachelor of Science course. The admission process was based on the scores of previous academics and submitting the documents at the college for counseling once you get the offer letter.
Faculty
The faculty and their content delivery were great. They told us to read several authors' books for vast knowledge. The lab assistant and teachers focused on the practical study more rather than the theoretical reading from the books.
