The campus life was pretty awesome. Both faculty members and seniors were very supportive in nature. The infrastructure of the college was amazing. I learned a lot of things from there. The hostel and mess facility were also good. Various types of events were also organised by the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was quite flexible. The course curriculum was too modern and updated as per the latest trends. Along with the course subjects, we had to study some non-credit subjects as well. The Exam structure was divided into internals and externals.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college were highly appreciated. The placement cell was really good. Most of the students got campus placement. I don't about the internships offered or not offered by the college for the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was too low and easily affordable by the students. The fee structure for my course (Ph.D) was Rs. 8,850 for 1st year and Rs. 5,950 for 2nd, 3rd year. The course duration was 3 years. So, the total fee structure for the course was Rs. 20,750 for 3 years.
Campus Life
There were many types of extracurricular activities were organised by the college. The college also conducted workshops and seminars for the students. There were many types of sports conducted by the college. I took part in Basketball, badminton sports team. They were very good.
Admission
The admission procedure was quite tough for the students. The admission was done on the basis of an entrance exam which was conducted by IARI (Indian Agricultural Research Institute) . The entrance exam consists of three tests.
Faculty
The Faculty in the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research were highly qualified. They all were well experienced in their respective fields. Most of them published their research papers. They were very supportive for their students.
