An amazing college.

The college provided the best exposure in the least amount with the best faculty and facilities from all over the world. It gives a stress free environment and enables us to study in a relaxing way. The college led us to know and showcase our multi talents too. I would always be grateful to the university for providing me the best of faculty and experience.

The course was 4 years long and consisted of 8 semesters. The curriculum was divided as per 4-5 subjects per semester and we were taught from basic computer languages to more complex codic languages. The practicals were also performed thoroughly every semester, where we used to use the taught protocol languages. English and behavioural science were two main compulsory subjects each semester. Internals and externals were taken at the end of each semester. The final year result was the average calculated of both the semesters.

Our colleges arranged the interviews from different MNCs and companies who would come at the beginning and ending of the 4th year and interview the students on the basis of their interest. The selection was strictly dependent on the academic as well as interview performance. 85% of my batch was placed by the college itself. The starting packages range from ?4 lakhs to ?10 lakhs per annum. Hence the course has high scope.

The college celebrated many events including all the cultural fests, festivals, national holidays, sports day. The main festival was Youth Festival Pratap which was our annual day, every student and staff used to participate and showcase their talent and enabled the celebration of secularism. It was a three day long festival. Sports day was celebrated in which different departments used to compete against each other. All of the events led us to know each other better and respect the backgrounds of peers.

The fees were taken annually. The first year fees were ?39,920 inclusive of the security deposit and later the fees were ?30,460 for 3 years. The total came to be around ?1,30,000. Which was totally feasible given the amount of exposure and quality of education provided. The hostel, excursion, etc were not included in the fees.

The scholarship was given on the basis of academic performance in the semester externals and internals. 15% scholarship was given to students for the next semester if he secured above 80% and above 95% of attendance. The marks had to be maintained throughout to continue the scholarship. The certification was given at the end of year for the student? achievement.

The sports day is our extra co curricular activity which is loved by almost every student. Large playground enabled us to interact and share our stress in the field. The libraries were fully equipped with up to date books and e-books. We could study via computer technology or books. Computer labs were always updated and provided the practical use of all the languages studied. The NSS and NCC at the college used to organise all the sports events. WiFi services were 24*7.

Our alumni was very helpful and helped us along the course throughout. They used to tell their experiences with various companies and their functioning, letting us know how a particular organisation performs. Alumni gave a lot of tips to all the students on study patterns and which subject to focus the most on. Our alumni network is strong and very cooperative with the students.

I applied for the BTech course for computer science in MPUAT, Udaipur. My admission was on the basis of the 12th board examination result along with the JEE main entrance exam marks. I secured 90% in boards and got good marks in JEE, and applied to the college through online application mode. There I filled all my details with documents and later was called in college for counselling and fees deposit formalities. Overall the admission procedure was smooth.

The faculty at MPUAT was helpful and used to guide us along every difficulty faced. They used to provide the exposure to get experience on our own. The tendency to take regular practical mock tests enabled us to be trained in the respective area. The teachers were very humble and all were scholars in their own fields. They used to help us without any judgements and were always motivated to achieve our goals.
