Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of 4 years which is divided amongst 8 semesters.It is a very diverse course.It includes subjects like Technical English Mathematics,Engineering Physics ,Engineering Chemistry ,Computer Programming and Engineering Graphics.The course aims to provide the students not only the theoretical knowledge but also the industry application of the subject.

Placement Experience

The training & Placement Cell of the college is nice. It is committed to provide all possible assistance to its graduates and postgraduates in their efforts to find employment. Many companies like Cognizant, MRF, TATA, Avalon, Kochar, Avasoft etc. visit the campus and select many students for the internship and placements. The college holds a good placement record.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for B.E. course in Electronics communication and Engineering is about 50000 per year. The total fee for the course is INR 200000. The hostel fee is charged separately. The fee is feasible in comparison to other colleges.

Campus Life

Every Department has a Student Forum (Association) managed by students to conduct co-curricular activities such as colloquium, symposium, Quiz Programmes, Debates etc. Industrial visits are organized regularly to make the students more familiar with the working of the industries.

Admission

I pursued Electronics & Communication Engineering from Apollo Engineering College. I got admission in this college on the basis of my marks in 12th and TNEA counselling. I applied for TNEA after that counselling was held by Anna University. A candidate must have at least passed 12th standard with 50% in physics, chemistry and mathematics.

The college has a very distinguished faculty. Each faculty member is highly qualified. They take a high interest in teaching students. The members are very co-operating and are always ready to help and guide the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.
