My experience with RJNIYD

i am quite satisfied with their curriculum. They believe more in practical knowledge than the theoretical one. It also provides international exposure to the students.The college organizes various seminars,workshops for their students on a regular basis.

There is a placement team for all the departments. They take care of all the placement related concerns.The college offers various placement opportunities for their students . Many students from the college are working as writers,researchers,social workers etc.

Well.it is certainly feasible. My course was a full time 2 years course. For the first year,the fee is RS 20,000 and for the second year,Rs 12,200, making a grand total of Rs 32,200. Our college provides free education for NYKS and NSS students.

There are various clubs namely social club,theatre club,Nature Club,NSS . Central Library and the art gallery are an important part of our college. The library is a well equipped one with a collection of large number of books,journals etc. The college provides air conditioned computer labs with latest technology. The campus also has a basket ball court, foot ball court, badminton court ,volley ball court and a gym.

The college provides two seperate well equipped hostels for girls and boys.The campus also has residential quarters for their staff members. This provides good opportunity to hostelers to interact with their teachers. There is a common mess for all. It also has a study room for the hostelers. The charge for the hostel is Rs 16000 and i think it is worth of it. Here students come from different parts of the country and never feel homesick because of its 'HOME AWAY FROM HOME" environment. The hostelers have their own "student mess management committee" in which they discuss every concern related to mess.

i chose gender studies because it had a different purpose as compared to other subjects. It allowed me to see the world with a different perception. For this subject,a student must have a bachelor's degree with minimum 45% or 40%(for sc/st) from a recognized university to become eligible for entrance exam. After this,the students who have cleared it need to attend the counselling process. During this process,the students will choose their desired subject and they will be asked to provide original documents for verification. The seats are allocated on the basis of rank gained,subject chosen during the counselling and seats available.

the faculty is very good. the ambience of the college is filled with positivity. the staff is always ready to help its students. They are student friendly and very polite. each student has a mentor for assistance.
