Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very interesting and wide. It was a one year course. The curriculum includes theory and practical components. The theory paper is based on hands on experience and the practical paper was based on field study in various libraries.
Placement Experience
More than 75 percent of the students get placement in the campus interview. Our University provides internship facilities to its students. There are many job opportunities in the field of library science like academic librarian, law librarian, school librarian, data curator etc. The average minimum salary package was around 2 lakh and the maximum salary package was around 4 lakh.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in our university. Both teachers and students participate in all the events. Events like Republic Day, Independence day, Holi, Teachers day, seminars, workshops, conferences etc are organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of the one year course was around 13500 rupees. It was a one time fees. It includes admission fees, prospectus fees and library fees. The fees was quite feasible for every students to pay.
Campus Life
The university organizes many extracurricular activities. The sports Committee manage, develop and organize many sports in the university like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, ludo, chess, carrom etc. Indoor activities was my favourite and i participate in all the indoor activities.
Admission
The admission process was based on the marks obtained in graduation. Students should pass their bachelor degree in Bachelor of Library science (B. LIS) from a recognised university or institute will be eligible for getting admission.
Faculty
All Faculties of our university are highly qualified and experienced. They have many years of experience in their own field. They try their best to clear each and every doubt of the students related to their studies. They are really very helpful.
