Remarks
I completed my B.Sc CS from SFR college for women under Madurai Kamaraj University. My overall experience with the course was quite good and I learnt and gained a vast skillset studying here. My peers are also very helpful to me, apart teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good and covers all important subjects like Operating Systems, OOPS, DBMS, C Programming, DSA and many more. The college is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The examinations are held twice a year, in semester mode, apart internal evaluations by college.
Placement Experience
The college does not offer much placement opportunities but there are multiple job opportunities after this course, if a person has proper skillsets, either in teaching or production field. There are multiple job opportunities after this course.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very much feasible according to me, as I was able to take admission here for to low fee. The yearly fee for my course was Rs. 1000 and the total fee was around Rs. 3200 which is quite effective and low for the course.
Campus Life
The college regularly holds different sports and cultural festivals for curing up students from academic frustration. The college also holds guest lectures for overall development of students. College also has well functional computer labs and a knowledge rich library.
Hostel Facilities
The college has hostel facility for both boys and girls, with separate undergraduate and postgraduate hostels. The hostels have a nice and hygienic mess for food and very much comfortable rooms to stay for whole course duration.
Admission
I took admission to college by approaching the college directly as the direct mode for admission was applicable as per first come first serve basis. So, I took admission here, by timely visiting the campus and caring over my admission process. I took admission here for posting my B.Sc CS.
Faculty
The faculties are quite good and skilled in their own profession and field. The teachers were quite friendly and involved with students in helping them be on right track in their studies and make sure to maintain discipline in college.
