Course Curriculum Overview
I liked the course curriculum as in bachelor of commerce only core subjects are included and after graduation, many stream are opened for higher education and further studies also. The exam structure was a combination of the viva, internal examinations, practical? and every six months a final exam.
Placement Experience
As per my knowledge, there are few chances of getting a job from placement interviews at the college but the faculties and also the non-teaching administration staff are quite helpful to the final year students. They tell students about the job prospects other than the companies come for placement interviews.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I felt that the fee structure at the Gondwana University - [GU] is quite feasible as the fees were 14,025 only. The students at the university were able to pay the fees according to the payment system designed by the admission department in which there were options of paying the fees in sections.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university had many options of scholarships for those students who have an unstable economic background, reserved categories, socially backward. The admission department has a list of eligibility and the amount can be availed in terms of fees or academic degree benefits at the university.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are good at the university as they are organized every weekend like exercise sessions, festival celebrations, faculty felicitation, cultural programs, and management workshops for all the students at the main campus of the university.
Alumni/Alumna
I had a good talk with alumni students and also a good interaction with the seniors as both were present at the time of campus events and felicitations programs. They were down to earth and gave quite a piece of advice to me and to all the students present at that moment.
Admission
I applied to the online platform of the university after completion of higher secondary education from school. The field was Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] in which the admission was merit-based. The admission process was online and very convenient while the university provides a counseling process on campus on one day registered by the university.
Faculty
At the campus, every faculty were engaged in some research or project work affiliated with students and the university. They provided extensive practical knowledge and several lectures on varied topics as they were quite qualified but had more experience in the relevant field.
