The Curriculum of FDDI is designed and developed by experts from prestigious institutions and organizations such as the University of Northampton ?UK, NIFT, IIM, IIT, Council of Leather Exports, etc.
Placement Experience
Amazing placements and job opportunities are seen here for the past few years. Companies like Bata India, Future Group, ITC Wills Lifestyle, Liberty, etc. are regularly coming for a on-campus placement drive with the highest package being offered as INR 12.5 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee structure per year here is around ?1.56 Lakhs. This fee is quite low and affordable in comparison to the fee charged by other colleges of the same discipline offering the same courses around the country.
Campus Life
Designs developed by the PDC are tested for its fittings, aesthetic taste, proportions, and other costing aspects. The sample room also provides sampling services to those entrepreneurs who do not have in-house facilities for sample developments. Tin pattern service is also provided by the sample room.
Hostel Facilities
Separate hostels for boys and girls are present here at Footwear Design and Development Institute [FDDI]. The total fee for the hostel fee per semester is Rs 18,000 which includes all facilities such as food, water, and electricity.
Admission
Primary criteria for selection to the college is 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized board along with submission of an online form for INR 500. Further All India Selection Test (AIST) Entrance Test is conducted for remaining selection criteria.
Faculty
The faculty members of the institute have acquired training from some of the leading institutions in India and Abroad. The visiting faculty consists of top professionals in the industry from the field of Fashion Design, Footwear Design and Production Management, Visual Merchandiser and Retail.
