Pramod's Review On Al-Ameen Law College, Palakkad

The entire course is divided into six semesters and the college follows the curriculum set by University of Calicut. There are both practical and theory classes for all three years and moot court sessions too for the students.

The college does not have a placement cell and the students will have to look for internships on their own. The students will have to look for both internship and job opportunities outside the college.

The course fee is comparatively more than government colleges. The management seats which are scored without the merit exam charges a larger sum than the merit list seats. The students admitted via management seat need not go through the counselling process.

There are plenty of options for extra curricular activities. The college has a moot court every year where students can participate and argue. There is also a college magazine for which students can contribute.

Alumni students of the college are very helpful to find a job and internship opportunities. The seniors are easily approachable and they help juniors with notes and study material when required. There is not alumni network as of now in the college.

The Kerala law entrance exam is the entrance exam for admission into all law courses. Apart from the entrance exam results 45% score in the 12th std is required as the eligibility criteria. After counselling. the seats are allocated to students.

The faculty of the college are very friendly and are experienced. They focus on helping the students understand the course and also conduct regular practical sessions and seminars to check understanding.
