Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum includes all current and emerging areas of food technology. It is a 2 years course work under AcSIR. Institute scientists set questionnaires. Exams are mostly application-oriented, which not only captures students' knowledge in basics, but also helps students understand concepts.
Placement Experience
It is the only company in which all sectors of food technology are under one roof. Maintenance is student-friendly. The student is supervised by a committee of scientists once a year. The guides take care of their students and continuously monitor the progress of the students. The placement are good here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for two year Ph.D. is very much feasible. It is almost the same if we compare it to other colleges. Buth the knowledge provided by faculty here is incredible. Such a right college at affordable fees.
Campus Life
All national and state events are held here. Conferences, workshops, training programs, presentations, short term courses for students, entrepreneurs, etc. are held here. All information is available on the Institute website. Conferences are such as IFCAN ICFOST SASNET etc.
Admission
I attended the Institute level interview. The results were finally out within two days of interviewing a group of scientists online in a personal interview. Students can choose their faculty before attending the interview or even after that.
Faculty
All faculty have a Ph.D. degree from good institutions with a good number of publications. The knowledge they have is unbelievable. Some even teach without books. Just ask them any question, they will tell the solution instantly.
