My experience at MGCU

Until now, I haven? heard anyone giving bad remark about the college. The management is very supportive and is improving every year in all aspects. All the facilities provided by the Institution are appreciable.

Course curriculum is good. The course is intended for students make a career in the R&D sector and lay a strong foundation for higher studies in science. The course offers students the opportunity to conduct an individual research project under the direction of an academic staff member in an field of interest. Students will acquire skills that enables them to work or to proceed to a higher degree of research without close supervision in an industry or a research sector.

Even though it? a new college and we were the first batch to be passed out, the placement opportunities we?e huge. Many companies offered internship and job opportunities. We have a training and placement cell which is trying it? best to get all students placed. Most if the students in my batch got placed and few went for higher studies.

Fee structure is quite evident. They charge according to the facility provided, there is no additional hidden fee. And the charged fee is feasible to everybody. Students can complete their degree at a low cost as compare to other universities with proper education. The total fee for my course for 3 years was approx. 70,000 Rs. Scholarships and loan are available for students.

Annual day is celebrated each year. Last year we had fresher? day and techfest. There are also many extracurricular activities conducted to boost the confidence of the students. The college also provides good conditioned labs and encourage students in sports activities.

We don? have an alumni network. But yes the college is working to build an alumni network, they have already collected all passed out details. College is ragging free, therefore all seniors and juniors are friendly and support each other in all activities. We have a WhatsApp group as of now for all passed outs.

MGCU offers courses both in UG and PG. I did my UG in B.Sc. Hons. The admission procedure is as follows. The admission can be filled up either via online mode else offline. The basic eligibility for applying for UG course is the candidate should have cleared HSC exam with 60% marks. Additionally the candidate should also qualify the CUCET exam conducted by the university. The seat allotment is based on the merit list.

The faculty is highly trained with punctuality and is well educated. All the faculty members hold Ph.D. degree. They are very keen on teaching. MGCU offers modern teaching methods that creates an interest in both students and faculty. All lecturers take their lecture on time and also put efforts in students career development skills. All teachers are understanding and corroborative.
