Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum covers all the practicals and theoretical aspects of biology.The college operates as per the guidelines of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research for their course structure.The course curriculum is good.
Placement Experience
Not much internships are provided by the college.The placement of the college is average.Mostly the students go for P.hd or some other higher education instead of opting for placements.Many students complete their P.hd after completing their M.Sc and do research.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for M.sc courses is very low.The total tuition fees of the M.sc two-year program is just 4,000 INR. Almost all the students can afford this fee.So fees is not a big issue here.The hostel fees is also not very expensive.
Campus Life
There are a lot of extracurricular activities held on the campus.There is a sports complex on the campus which includes equipped gymnasium and other indoor sports such as table tennis and badminton.There are also football and cricket ground in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided to the students.The hostel infrastructure is good and the facilities provided in the hostel are also good.Food served in the mess for the students is average.Rooms and washrooms are kept clean by the hostel staff.
Admission
Admission in this college is done on the basis of an entrance examination which is conducted by the.A student has to fill two separate forms for two different subjects and appear for two different entrance tests.After that the student is called for an interview.
Faculty
Majority of the faculty members are quite friendly and very much interactive with the students.The faculty is accessible 24/7.They help us with our assignments and projects.They guide us and support us in the best possible manner.
