Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided in 6 semesters over three years. It is offered in full time regular mode. Moreover the course curriculum is in line with UGC approved syllabus. The degree is structured to supply the scholars managerial skills with an in-depth knowledge on subjects like accounting, law, statistics, finance, marketing. Students are also assigned various projects and assignments.
Placement Experience
Since it's a distance education institute, not much is expected in terms of internship or placement. Internship has to be done on our own. The institute also has a placement cell which acts as a mediator between the students and the recruiters to make them industry ready. The University organizes job fair where various MNCs participate. 10-15% of the North Indian companies like HCL, Hyundai, SBI, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, etc., recruit the deserving students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Since it is a public institute therefore fee is not much as compared to full time course. The fee structure for each year in B.com course is INR 6,405 which is affordable as compared to other colleges. This pretty much sums up to Rs. 19,215 for the entire course of 3 years.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities includes sports competition, celebrating different type of festivals, organizing various cultural dramas, seminars and workshops. The institute stands up against gender discrimination and ragging.
Admission
For Under Graduate courses in our college, I downloaded the form from its official website and submitted along with the required documents. The students were selected on the basis of merit and were required to report at the institute for fee payment.
Faculty
The faculty members are well educated and experienced. They ensure that the study guides are prepared with good resources and delivered to us in time. Since the college offers Distance Education, the staff aims at solving all matters concerning academic environment within short period of time.
