Remarks
In my personal opinion, I liked this university as it was a diverse one and the students who passed from here have some good positions in reputed industries and companies. Also, the university provided detailed-oriented academics which was a benefit for all.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I have not done my bachelor's from the completely relevant field but I was fond of the course curriculum at the university as it was very detailed and information-rich. It was completely logical based which my favorite part. Exams were divided according to the four semesters and each had internals and submission of assignments.
Placement Experience
At the Thiruvalluvar university, there are some decent chances of getting a job at a recognized firm with an average salary in the probation period only. I got the job from university place cell only but I left it as I got an offer with high pay. Also, there were moderate ways offered to do an internship at the university.
College Events
In our university, there was faculty felicitation yearly and in that event, a general speech was given to motivate students. Apart from it, for some courses, the university organized technical and theoretical seminars and certain appropriate and relevant webinars to provide more knowledge to the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The first fee I paid was the application fees which was 1000 and the fees for every semester were 15,000. As there were a total of four semesters a total of 63,500 were the fees including the extra charges like security deposit and library fees.
Campus Life
As a part of extracurricular activities, the university organized extra lectures on current affairs so that the general knowledge of students improves and all the students participated willingly. Apart from the seminars, there were sports and celebrations of several festivals by a group of students.
Admission
After my bachelor's course, I applied to the Master of Business Administration after giving the TANCET exam as it was the additional eligibility with 50% in graduation. The admission process starts by downloading the application form. For general category students, the application fees are 200 and for the reserved category, it is 100. All the academic documents and the ones mentioned in the application form are mandatory.
Faculty
The university appointed professional and experienced faculty only especially for the master's students after academics they will apply for a job. Faculty made every concept clear and also taught how to implement the theoretical knowledge into the practical aspect of the workplace.
