Hi I am studying B.Tech in The Neotia University. This is the best institute for the B.Tech. The faculties are very helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected CSE, because it has a very good career & I was not wrong. I got a very good placement.

Most of the students selected for the internship in Kolkata, Outside of Kolkata even abroad also. We also had industrial training.

The placement cell is very active in The Neotia University. The placement officers always groom us for better future & campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are quite reasonable than other private university or institutes.

Campus Life

The extra-curricular activities in the campus very good. We have all kind of clubs like Robotics, Drama, Game, Cricket, Basketball and many more.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel & canteen are very nice. We can do group studies & faculties helped us all the time. Foods are very hygienic. And the security is very strict.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
