Everything about the college is laudable. The campus, The amenities, hostel facilities, labs, library, sports center, faculty and everything has done a praiseworthy job. The seniors are very friendly and caring and provide good guidance.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course focuses highly on the practical aspect of the curriculum. There are field visits, industrial visits, in plant training, etc. to add onto the syllabus and make the students understand the subject better.

Marthandam college of Engineering and Technology has a great placement office, helping organizations in conducting campus selection and aims at providing 100 % placement for students in reputed companies.
College Events
The college conducts formal and informal events throughout the year. The events include cultural events, sports events, workshops, seminars, guest lectures, etc. the cultural event includes the annual fest and sports committee conducts competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is for a duration of 4 years and the fee each year is Rs. 55,000. The fee includes all facilities and equipment used for the practical sessions in the labs, the field visits, etc. The fee is quite affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college also offers scholarships to the students from poor economic background. The students who cannot afford to pay the college fee can apply for scholarship. This helps in encouraging the students and motivating them.
Campus Life
The college offers extra curricular activities to the students such as the modern and futuristic labs, Industrial visits, In Plant Training, Guest lectures, a huge library, workshops, etc. They college organizes cultural events and sports competitions too.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel has certain fees as mentioned: hostel fee of Rs.15,000 per year and mess charges of Rs.3000 per month. The fee is quite low in comparison to the other accommodation facilities around the campus.
Admission
For First Year B.E., The college does not conduct any entrance exam. the candidate should have had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their Higher Secondary Education with at least 50% in it. Admission is based on merit.
Faculty
The faculty is very cooperative and jovial. They keep the students on their toes with projects, tests, assessments and the like. They are sociable with the students and keep a friendly environment in the classrooms.
