Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was well designed and well taught.The curriculum includes advanced studies related to plants, animals and farming. The course takes at least three years and is completed by researching and presenting to the academic committees.
Placement Experience
The institute provides a very good placement cell for its students. The placement cell helps us a lot in by providing hand on experience through workshops and internship. Many job opportunities are there in the field of government and private sector, in colleges and universities etc. After completing the course, most of the students are very much successful in their own caree.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was quite good. The fees includes semester fee, caution fees, laboratory fees etc. Students who come from different institute have to pay an extra fees of 20000 rupees. The total per semester fees which include caution fees was around 35000 rupees. I was very happy and satisfied with my fees.
Campus Life
The institute excels not only in academic activities but also gives importance in its extra curricular activities. Many social activities like distribution of clothes among the poor people, provide free education to the underprivileged students, plantation programme etc are organized. Besides these many outdoor and outdoor activities are also organized.
Hostel Facilities
The institute provides guest house for the research students. During my course, i was staying in guest house which was provided by the institute. The guest house provides AC Bedrooms. There are double bed, triple bed rooms with attached bathroom and toilet. Many facilities like free Wi-Fi, Dining room, solar water, DTH facility etc.
Admission
The admission process depends upon the results in the last qualifying examination. The minimum eligibility for getting admission is 55% of marks in Post graduation from science stream in Agriculture as the main subject. There is 5 percent of relaxation of marks for SC/ST students. Students who cleared their NET/JRF was called for interview which was compulsory for every students. The final selection was based on the interview and on the marks obtained in post graduation.
Faculty
All teachers of our college are best. Their teaching skills was so excellent that it helps us a lot in the future also. They are very flexible. They are always ready to help us in our studies whenever we need them.
