Course Curriculum Overview
The courses were vast and carried practical sessions and the lab classes required 100 percent attendance. Through my course, I am learning about Enzymology and Protein Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry and Cell Signalling. The exam pattern is very structured and university emphasize on building strong educational base of the students.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college works for the final year students in fetching good and reputed jobs in popular and good brands. Many of my classmates were hired by Ranbaxy , Cipla with a high salary package and some even worked in the hospitals. The pharma companies do visit our campus and also we are provided with the internship opportunities as well wherein we are provided with the stipend of almost 5000 - 15000 INR.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being one of the premiere institutes of India and a centrally organised university the fees is really feasible for this college. The fees is around 6000 INR per annum which is pretty basic for a professional course like this . The college really provides good facilities to the students and does not put any financial burden at all.
Campus Life
The college strongly focus on developing skills in the students .Apart from studies and exams we really have a cool environment in the campus . We celebrate different festivals and play games as well . The college conducts inter college game competition every year . We have our own badminton court , basketball court and playground in which we regularly play different sports .
Hostel Facilities
The best part of the college is hostel according to me . It is a place where friends hangout and chill . The hostel is lush green and the room are pretty good as well. The rooms are available in single as well as sharing separately for both boys and girls . The basic facilities like power supply , clean water , first aid , wifi are present in the hostel .
Admission
I took admission to this college by clearing NIPER JEE ( National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination ) . The registration for the entrance exam costs around 2000 INR and exam is conducted in the month of July . You can visit the official website of NIPER to follow the cutoff for the college. You can also apply to GPAT to get the admission into this college.
Faculty
My professors are well trained and carried a good amount of knowledge regarding the subject and helped me to gain a better overview of the subject whether related to practicals or theories. Both the parameters were carried brilliantly by them. Their method of teaching is very unique and interesting . Trust me you will never get bored while working with them.
