About chitkara university all i can say is therer i sno engineering college and university in north where such high standard and quality education provided to students good placements and 9.5/10 is given to chitkar auniversity i will advise every student who want to do engineering to be a part of chitkara university.

AIEEE to be cleared is required to take admission along with minimum % age of 60% for electronics and comunication engineering.

Course curriculum is the one that is requirement of industry oriented courses and projects for hands on training experience is there in every semester more focus on practical subjects.

Internship provided by college itself with good stiphend during 7 semester and 8 semester for ece and cse respectively and stiphend starting from 20,000 is provided during training period and after that the salary with 3.5-4 lkh package is given to students.

Placements are too good every student of 2014 batch wo are eligible and those who want to get them placed package of 3-4 lakh is being taken by every student as i am batch 2014 pass out still the students get messages and mails from placement department about the companies coming for recruitment and i am surprised to see that department of university is still putting efforts for the students package starting from 3 lakh is aquired by students average package is 3.5 lkh for 2014 batch.

Events are celebrated every semester including technical, non technical, cultural events, freshers and events like project competition and general knowledge quizzes are being conducted and organised by university time to time.

Fee structure is bit expensive in comparison with the other colleges but it is feasible if we see the facilities provided and infrastructure the standard of teaching ,placements and other facilities too so i think it is worth if we see placements record.

Shcolarship to meritorious students is given who scores 1st position or cgpa above 9 i am not aware of loan facility provided by university.

Campus life is amazing and enjoyable everyone enjoyes the campus life along with studies good environment and good crowd no biasing on the basis of sex, creed, caste, race even the african students do study with the north indian students and they are too friendly with students no politics in universitty as no election s and student unions are there overall a safe environment for students.

Food and hostel facilities is too good.hostel rooms are airy and with proper ventilation, windows in each room and 2,3,4 seater rooms are available even ac rooms are availalble food is hygeinic and homely atmosphere provided in hostels, wardens 24*7 available to take care of students proper security provided.

Very good alumini network as the university at hp started in 2008 still a good network is maintained by the university called "chitkara alumini network"(can) and mails and parties being organised are informed to alumini time to time to maintain a chain and network of students.

Examination structure is a bit hectic as there is semester system so university also cannot do as such changes to remove or reduce examination burden although after one or two examinations students donot find it hectic as the teachers teach so good that students just need a revision before examination so overall no stress on part of students.

Experienced faculty with phd and masters degree is there to teach bachelor students faculty is experienced and cooperative and friendly practical information along with the theory is given to tudents even live examples and experiments are taught to students.
