Kerala Kalamandalam is the premiere public institution in India conducting performances and imparting training in performances of the classical arts of Kerala. The Kalamandalam troupes have been sponsored by The Indian Council for Cultural Relations time and again for performances in USA, Australia, Europe and Canada.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is really good and not that Hectic. The curriculum is really very informative and helpful in shaping my talent. Most of the exams we have here comprise mostly of practical exams and a few theory exams as well.
Placement Experience
The stipend is usually awarded initially for a period of one year. The continuation of stipend for the subsequent years for each student is related to the Progress Report. For those who fall short of marks in the terminal and yearly examinations, stipends will either be withheld or withdrawn. The newly admitted students who are in need of stipend have to apply for the same in the first week of June every academic year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college I am studying at is college fee:4000 and hostel fee 1500 that's all. I like the study there. there will be freedom to present all our skills in this college. This analysis provides lessons for existing proposals and offers new ones to improve transparency in college costs.
Campus Life
There are many other activities are held in college; many more are events are also held in college to make student aware of thing. Different competition and inter college fest etc are held for students.
Hostel Facilities
No, my was near from the college so I not opted for hostel. As you opted for hostel in the application form, they will request you to pay the hostel charges along with the first semester fees on the online portal.
Admission
I got admission into this college based on my 12th pass certificate. I chose this course because I had a thing for performing arts right from my childhood days and I wanted to pursue it seriously as a career and there isn't any other college I would rather study this. Kerala Kalamandalam is really famous for its performing arts department.
Faculty
Kalamandalam is all about the bond between the guru and shishya. Training in art-disciplines at Kalamandalam essentially adheres to the ancient Gurukul sambradaaya, which calls for a deep bond between the teacher and the student.
