Course Curriculum Overview
The course of BSC with mathematics(Hons) is of the duration of 3 years program with 6 semesters. The evaluation system is based on Choice Based Credit System. The end semester exams are held in June/December. The class schedule is not hectic . It is of 5 and half hours of class everyday and around 90 working days in each semester.Between the semesters there are mid terms exams, class assignments , and projects are assigned to us for the better understanding of our subjects.
Placement Experience
the placement of the college is good. The placement cell helps us a lot and in many ways by developing various skill set in us including soft skills, communication skills, placement training and many others which contributes a lot towards securing the best opportunities to us . The top recruiting companies are Future Generali Total Insurance,IDBI Federal Life Insurance etc .
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college is much more feasible . It is around a total of 12,000 per year for the course Bsc. The facilities provided by the college is good. The fees seems to very much affordable comparing other college fees and faculties.
Campus Life
There is a seperate sports complex in the the college for our various sports activities including various indoor and outdoor games. Annual sports and tournaments are organized in the college in which various other colleges take part in. The college organizes various seminars and workshops focusing on recent topics and studies including IT training, multimedia training etc. for the best opportunities in the upcoming days.
Admission
For admission at various UG courses in the college is through the marks of 10+2 examination . Securing good marks in the 10+2 examination is safe side for getting admission in the college. Interested candidates willing for admission in the college have to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of passing 10+2 from CBSE or any other equivalent board recognized by Periyar University.
Faculty
The faculty of the college have their qualification from reputed institutes and universities of the country. After every theory classes , we are given the practical knowledge of every class . All the faculty members are well trained with years of experience. They are very friendly and interactive with us and along with the studies they contributes to our overall development by assigning group projects , debates , interactive sessions and many more so that our overall development takes place in a well organized way.
