Made my career

B.ed is a 2-year course. It is basically for those who want to be a teacher and then professor or into education sector. So the whole syllabus rolls around everything which are necessary in this field. In the first semester it deals in understanding a student's issues and a teacher's implications into that. The second semester is about understanding the learner and the prospects of teaching. Now when it is believed that students have gained knowledge about teaching, we go for school internships and projects related to that are assigned in the third semester. Then in last semester we are taught about socialization which takes into consideration school, society and family.

They are the best in terms of placements. I got selected from campus itself. I teach economics in a college. And the salary is also good, that i won't share because that's not the important thing when you are learning so much. Working hours are also relaxing. So besides companies, schools and colleges also do come here for campus selection.

This course has a lot of weightage rather even more when you from such a recognized university. So i didn't inquired about other colleges because my personal interest lied here. Here the fees of b.ed is 15000 for an year including tuition fees. So whole course took rs. 3,000. For me this is fine because my my first placement was itself a good one and satisfactory.

The college has many links with big speakers. So there use to happen seminars, sessions on some relevant topics in the starting of a new academic year and during the year also. We also use to volunteer and be a part of it if we wished to.

Today while writing about it, i am actually reliving my old days. Especially the hostel ones. They were so beautiful. Not only because of our girly friendships and all but also because of the perfect facilities free of any loopholes.Food was yummy. Morning milk, salad, fruits and curd was mandatory to be eaten so that we remain in good health. Rarely any children felled ill so when it happened doctor used to visit here itself. The charges were also nominal and worthy.

For doing B.ed, one must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. So i did my graduation with b.com in this college itself. And because i liked the culture here so i preferred to do b.ed from this college only. I wanted to be a teacher that's why i gone for this course.

The faculties here are very much understanding. As my course was itself inclined to faculty so we used to do role plays in which we exchanged our actual roles to make ourselves comfortable and so that we could be made understood then and there itself. So it was like live teaching training.
