Remarks

This university has many colleges affiliated under it and the colleges are very well reputed. The colleges encourage full development of students and provide them with total guidance. The faculty is very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was designed in order to give the students full knowledge of the subjects. The syllabus was divided into theory and practicals. The practical lectures gave us a better understanding of the specimen.

Placement Experience

The students have gotten placed at many different companies and organizations through the campus recruitment organized by the college. They have acquired different positions of their liking in companies of their choice.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fee for the particular program is ?1,250. The fee is extremely nominal and is inclusive of the tuition fee and the other fee demanded by the college. The students from the reserved category get some concession in the fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship to the students who cannot afford to pay the fee. They provide concession to the reserved category such as SC, ST and OBC and also provide scholarships to the economically handicapped.

Campus Life

Our college has always kept the students active with extra curricular. The college has many different clubs, committees, etc. that organize and make the students volunteer in fests each year, keeping them fully involved in campus life.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides a hostel for the students to live in. The hostel has a very homely environment and everyone is very friendly. The rooms are tidy and the bathrooms are hygienic. The food served is good too.

Admission

Admissions to UG program are given to the students who have cleared 10+2 with a minimum of 45%. Admissions to UG courses are based on merit and counselling after that. Application mode to the college is online.

The faculty was pretty strict. They are always grilling the students into working harder and they always assign us projects and papers leaving us with no free time to waste. The professors pay much needed attention to the students.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

College placement are not so good but it provide placement who are capable or want to place in company.Campus selection more offer to the computer science and Electrical and electronic students but mechanical and civil also placed in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of BBA help to increase the business potential of the students. They learnt how to manage the organisation. After coursing BBA students gets opportunity to start their own business. Students also get knowledge about personality development and how to be entrepreneur.

Placement Experience:

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

I choose this course because I want to become a professor of chemistry. The qualification of faculty is very good. All the faculties of our colleges have a minimum of 10+ years of teaching experience. All the exams were held timely. It is easy to pass.

Remarks:

The state open university follows the rule and regulations of UGC, so the fee structure is transparent and very much nominal which is also much lower than any other college in the state. The payment mode like bank draft, online payment etc. is easily accepted by the college. Cash payments is not acceptable.

I was a student of BCA from this college.For getting admission into my college in BCA course you have to score more than 50% marks in your class 12 examination. The eligibility is same for BBA diploma and other certificate courses.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.

Fact about my college

I completed 12th grade in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. After 12th grade, I decided to pursue the same course at Patliputra University, which was considered one of the best universities in Bihar at that time. All the colleges affiliated with this university were reputed, and they had regular classes along with lab facilities. However, due to COVID and lockdowns, I couldn’t go there.
