Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed to impart high-quality knowledge and insights into the business. The academic calendar very well supports the curriculum as it provides ample time to synthesize and ingest the teachings of the professors and the material provided. Method of teaching will be through distance education mode. The medium of instruction will be both English and Odia. Reading material will be provided in English.

Placement Experience

Our college focussed on talented and Qualified students for the placement before they complete their education. Normally, the campus placement season begins at the prefinal/final semester. There are some steps for placements in our college like a personal interview, aptitude test, typing test and Essay writing to check the English knowledge.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is very minimal and they accepted only online payment because it's never been a huge amount If I talked about the transparency.it's very transparent, all of us irrespective of our background were charged the same fees. The fees structure are very easy and can be affordable by a maximum number of people. Anyone can easily pay the fees.Scholarships/reimbursement of fees is available to the deserving candidates of Sc/st/ph as per govt. Of Odisha norms.

Campus Life

The college provides facility like big Library which covers all types of book necessary for students and E-books too are accessible. Labs are also well established and are helpful for students who want to do research. basic facilities like WiFi, library and lab equipment will definitely meet your level of expectations

Admission

I got direct admission in this college after completing my 10+2. I filled an offline form by visiting the admission counter of the college. then the college called me for an interview along with my original documents and provided me with an enrollment number by confirming my admission.

Teachers will be engaged to conduct Counseling classes for evaluation of assignments. Practical sessions will be held in Institutions.In this college there is no pressure of attendance .the teachers here are so friendly that they allow you to do some productive things by not attending the class.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.
