Course Curriculum Overview

The college has very smooth curriculum for the programme. There is is a focus on practical approach and research work. Exams are held at the end of each semester. You need to prepare well to get passed as exams are not easy.

Placement Experience

The placements of the college very good. Big companies like Infosys, Uniliver, ITC etc visit the campus for recruitment of the students into their companies. Internships are provided to the student by the college with good stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible. The stipend provided by the college doctorate students or even master students is enough for them to cover the fees and other expenses. It is about 22,000 for my course for one year.

Campus Life

The college has various societies and association because of the diversity of interest of students and their culture. Workshop seminars and conferences are held in Institute by professionals. Sports tournaments are also held

Hostel Facilities

The college has decent hostel with all the necessary facilities provided like electricity water and food. There are also some indoor games provided which you can play a in your free time. The rent is also very handy.

Admission

The College admissions are held through CFTRI test which is the entrance exam for some courses and for some other it is merit based. You have to fill the application form online mdn clear the test to get admission.

Faculty

The faculty is very experienced and highly qualified. They are interactive and supportive. You you can always find them in your help whenever you need them. They always try to bring out the best in you

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
