NITK is the pioneer college in engineering stream. The management is also very supportive and always keen on student benefit activities. Especially individual department int the college supports their students to grow up their skills.
Entrance Preview
I wrote GATE 2013 and I got this college on the basis of my AIR. based on the counselling we got the college. If you are coming of research then you may face interviews other wise AIR rank is enough to get this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is nice. particularly design course s covering full syllabus which is important and designed based on industry requirement. Curriculum are design in such a way that it will help the students to improve their skills.
Internships Opportunities
Generally fir internship you can apply for anywhere. Some companies come to the college and take students for internship profiles. It is good experience during engineering to go for internship and learn the industries exposure.
Placement Experience
Many companies come for placement. many of the students got placed also. Mostly students from IT and CS got more package ans also get more placement. But in core branches the percent of placements is pretty low.
College Events
There are many events are celebrated at college level. It is consist of cultural, sports and other competitive activities which garner the skills of the students. some program are like incident the tech fest, dance fest, art, photography activities etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. The fee is as per the government body rule. it consists of manly tut ions fee and other hostel fee and mess fee. other than this there is no other fee is there.

NITK offer different scholarship for minority as well as meritorious student. Also the banks in the campus provide education loan.
Campus Life
NITK having beautiful beach, lush green campus and surrounded by many cafeteria. Student will never get bore in such awesome environment. Also the campus is 250 acre of wide range area.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are good, having much space to accommodate students. But the food quality can not be good, as food is not good. Mostly it is unbearable for north people who suffered this problem most.
Alumni/Alumna
NITK is ragging free college. Senior are also very helpful. seniors help there juniors to get help in study and notes. seniors are mostly are beery helpful and generally help in any kind of problem if you are.
Exam Structure
There is pre semester and end semester exam are conducted for any stream and branches. Apart from this their are some assignment and unit tests re taken by professor time to time.
Faculty
Faculty is very much supportive and always spare their time with student. They are very much innovate and with their skills they are creating the future engineers which will be equally efficient.
