Course Curriculum Overview
There are different areas of focus in this Ph.D. course and students can go for any area that they are interested in. The main criterion is that students should have proper knowledge and degree to pursue that area of research.
Placement Experience
Since this is a research program there are no such placement options that the college provides, however, the guides can lead you to the correct path of what you should do after you have completed your research.
College Events
There are many events in the college such as world water day, national science day lecture, earth day, national technology day, workshops, new year day lectures, foundation day celebrations, new year eve celebrations, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the research course is Rs. 12,100 for each year along with other fees such as academy deposit, library deposit, lab deposits, etc. Even with this, the fee structure for the course is feasible as the facilities provided by the college are many.
Campus Life
The college has many extracurricular events that students take part in. There are lab facilities and other events where students spend their time outside of their study time. This makes a strong bond between the other departments as well.
Admission
After my masters, I came across the National Geophysical Research Institute which provided research courses for the same. Being a citizen of Telangana itself it was like a boon for me to be so near to home and also continue my studies. I qualified for my NET examination and also got through the college interview and entrance test.
Faculty
The faculties or research guides for the course are the people who help us and guide use in completing our research in the given time. There are many problems that we face during our research and it is necessary to have a good guide and I am surely blessed with that.
