Master of Education [M.Ed]

Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University has a great campus life, good facilities for the students like a free library with all the material required. Also, the non-teaching staff gave much assistance regarding every matter relevant to academics.

University selected quite upgraded courses for students which were somewhat tough as per the level of first-year students. Also, there were assignments, practicals, and presentations considering it all in the result and the exams were taken every semester. There were a total of four semesters and therefore four final examinations.

As our batch was of masters students, the university arranged placement interviews and invited some reputed organizations and institutes for the hiring process. The chances to get a job from there were in students' hands and many students were able to make it.

The structure of fees at the university is very much feasible for all the students as 5,495 were the fees for one year and the next year fees were only 4,640. Mostly, every student can afford these amounts and the fees were very reasonable as compared to the facilities at the university.

There was an equal balance between academics and extracurricular activities at the university. As the course was only two years, students did many activities like going to a school and giving the ideas about future, regional activities, gave descriptive lectures to the junior students with some fun. There was no discrimination and the gender ratio was almost equal.

For masters in education, the admission committee requires a bachelor's degree so with all my mark sheets and other necessary documents I applied to the admission department at the university campus for Master of Education. The process is very easy and the non-teaching admission staff is very helpful in counseling.

In our academic department, there were a total of 8 professors from which 2 were head professors, 2 were assistant and lab professors while 6 were assistant professors who took our lectures. Some topics were much complex so the head of the professor came to take the lecture. All the faculties were much qualified and we learned every new thing every day with these professors.
